	het leggen en onderhouden van contacten tussen werkende vrouwen in de gehele wereld,
	het bewerkstelligen van gelijke kansen en gelijkwaardige posities op alle gebieden en niveaus van de maatschappij,
	het beïnvloeden van politieke beslissingen.

At each International Congress, our members submit motions to the Executive Board or vice versa which can lead to lively discussions on the floor, before they are being voted on by the delegates. Some motions, after they have been carried, become resolutions - decisions or declarations of intent to amend something.
Resolutions alone, however, will not get the work done, but, luckily, there are always members who suggest how these resolutions can be implemented. Here are the resolutions adopted at the Melbourne Congress:
